Northwood Cemetery app for iPhone and iPad

Welcome to Northwood Cemetery, Cowes - the second oldest and largest cemetery on the Isle of Wight. The site is managed by the Isle of Wight Council with wonderful support from the Friends of Northwood Cemetery, a charity set up in 2008 to help protect and preserve the sites unique heritage and conservation value.

Both Chapels were until 2015 at risk of demolition until a grant for their restoration was secured from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Big Lottery Fund.

Funding was also used to fund restoration as well as community and education projects throughout the cemetery including this App. The App has been made to act as a guide to Northwood Cemetery. The App contains text, images and audio to guide around the cemetery and to point out key areas of the cemetery.
